About Ashish Rana
Ashish currently works at S&P Global in Boston, Massachusetts, as an Investment Management Quantitative Consultant. His areas of expertise include quantitative portfolio management, computational finance and data analytics. Ashish was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. He attended the Mahindra United World College in India and completed his Bachelors of Arts at Westminster College, Missouri USA, majoring in Economics and Mathematics. After his undergraduate studies he returned back to Nepal and worked briefly at top financial institutions such as NIBL Capital and Mercantile Exchange Nepal before attending The Johns Hopkins University to complete his Masters in Applied Mathematics.
Ashish enjoys reading Science Fiction and Fantasy in his free time. He also likes travelling, listening to music and engaging in interesting conversations with people.
